Elena Sardelli, native Italian speaker, has been working as a teacher and a travel consultant, since the 90s. Not 50 yet, but almost there, she loves meeting people and sharing stories about… whatever brings her students to a deeper knowledge of her country: art, history, food, travels. She got her PhD in Linguistics, focusing on Prosody, Second Language Acquisition and Regional Accents. While writing her thesis, she started working as a professional, licensed, tour guide in Italy.  – Lots of fun and lots of opportunities to learn, see, understand… in order to tell, explain, report and discuss. – Based in Siena, Tuscany, Elena has been hired as a contract professor at the University of Siena and recently she has developed a new project, in which both her background fields meet. During her lessons you’ll explore Italy. It will a kind of live documentary. Apart of all of that, what does she like? Cooking for her “boys” – particularly for her son Dante –  and… playing badminton, walking, hiking, biking through Tuscany. Traveling for sure. (At the moment more mentally than physically… but we must keep dreaming).
