What can I buy in Siena?
Siena ceramics/pottery is famous and beautiful. The quality is always good, what’s changing are the painters/artists working at different workshops and expressing themselves with different designs. It will be hard to go back and find the very same piece you loved, so once you find it, buy it.
Christmas cookies, ricciarelli and panforte are one of the few typical products of Siena. One of the most famous brand is Nannini – coffee shop though the main street via Banchi di Sopra – even if my favourite ones are made by Nocino, out of Porta Pispini.
Wine and cheese it’s very very good, usually hard to travel with though.
Fashion is cool too. If you have walked around Milan and Rome already and not found something special, try at Dolci trame or MAG. Very trendy!
Art is what you can look for too as some photo studios.Some prints ore watercolors about the Palio or the Tuscan landscape are light, not too expensive and easy to travel with.

If you have a car or a driver then go to the Fashion Outlets. One in IL LECCIO, the MALL, by Incisa val d’ Arno, the other one called SPACE, basically a Prada and Miu Miu Outlet, in Levanella, not too far from the exit of Montevarchi on the A1.
